Bourns College of Engineering was for most engineers, a home. It was there during our tribulations and epiphanies; countless hours were spent in these walls, that saw teenage boys and girls become men and women working together as a family to achieve the ultimate goal, success.

 BCOE’s Five-Year BS+MS Program

High-achieving students in the Bourns College of Engineering may have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in just five years through the unique BS+MS program. Students with a GPA of at least 3.6 begin taking graduate courses in their senior year. The program features regular mentoring by both undergraduate and graduate advisers and research and industrial internships during the academic year and summer.

Career Choice Commitment

We welcome students from other majors who wish to transfer to Bourns. Our staff works with each transfer student to ensure a successful transition into engineering.
