Your studies at the Bourns College of Engineering go far beyond the classroom and the lab. We help prepare you for the next step in your journey with career preparation seminars, internship assistance and networking. As a result, students who complete their undergraduate work in the Bourns College of Engineering have many doors open to them upon graduation.
- Some choose to start their careers immediately, getting jobs with established companies or perhaps starting their own company from scratch. Companies that have hired BCOE grads include Raytheon, Thermal Structures Inc., Goodrich, 3M, Liquidmetal Technologies, Toro, Control Components Inc., Northrop Grumman, Guidant. Or perhaps they have a great entrepreneurial idea and start their own company from scratch.
- Others choose to continue their education by pursuing advanced degrees, either at UCR or at other fine universities around the world. UCR graduates have gone on to postgraduate degree programs at Harvard, Northwestern, Caltech, MIT, Stanford and many more.
